What we collect

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture. If you sign in with an emailed code, we only receive your email address. This is used only to identify your account. We never handle passwords — authentication is managed entirely by Clerk.

Route data

If you are not signed in, your routes are stored only in your browser (IndexedDB) and never leave your device. If you sign in, your routes and collections are stored on our servers so you can access them across devices. Route data is never shared or sold.

Location data

To generate a forecast we send the coordinates along your route to the weather and map services below. Because a route can reveal places like your home or regular ride start, we treat these coordinates as location data. We don't attach your identity to those requests, but the services receive the coordinates and your device's IP address as part of the normal request.

Third-party services

Clerk — authentication and account management

Open-Meteo — weather, elevation, and air-quality forecasts (receives route coordinates)

NOAA / National Weather Service — US weather alerts and severe-weather outlooks (receives route coordinates)

Nominatim / OpenStreetMap — reverse geocoding of place names (receives route coordinates)

Vercel — hosting (standard server access logs) and privacy-friendly usage analytics (Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights: aggregate page views and performance metrics, no cross-site tracking)

Preferences on your device

Your units, theme, and default-view settings are stored locally in your browser (not in cookies used for tracking). Clearing your browser storage resets them.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data (routes, collections) at any time from the Account screen in the app menu. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
